Similar to the way the United States got involved in WW2, Germany may have sent ships to attack United States ships.

The reason I think that the United States got involved is because I believe that they were looking at the conclusion if they didn't fight. If Germany took over all of Eurasia and Africa, the Germans would have more resources, more land and more power. By this time it would be to late for the U.S. because the United States potential allies have been destroyed and the Germans would be feared so it would be hard to get other allies. This is why I think the United Sates joined the World War so that Germany would never be able to dominate the world.

Also it would act kind of how Star wars played out. If the enemy takes down everyone they would have way more troops, resources, and Materials to take you down so that could have been why the U.S decided to act.

I like this--you would enjoy the premise of a book I am reading called "How to Hide an Empire".

One of the reasons was that Germany had unrestricted submarine which led to the sinking of US ships.

I think the US got involved because of any alliances that could have been made. It might also be the aftermath, so would a nation get really mad at the US for not helping them. Maybe the US wanted some of the land in southeast Asia, so they decided to join.

I think the US got involved in the war to “prevent” being directly attacked, and maybe have a little bit of defense if a rival came for them.

I think the US became involved because they were trying make allies so that they wouldn't be directly attacked.

I think the reason why the U.S got involved with a European war was because Germany may have sent a boat or submarine to destroy some of our naval ships. Or we felt that if we didn't act then other country's would look down on us so we might of done it to show dominance so that other country's would not think we are week and attack us.

I believe the US got involved in the European war for multiple causes. One cause was to try and stop the Germans from taking over way too much space. The US could try and ally with other countries to stop the invading Germans. Another reason was because the Germans and their allies launched many submarines and ships that sunk many American ships.

I think the Us got involved in the war because they didn't want to get attacked and they needed allies to help them not get attacked. If they allied with another country and helped that country, the country would then most likely help the US.

I think the Us got involved because if they didn't join the war they would most likely be attacked and too prevent getting attacked, they joined the war

I think the United States got involved in the First World War because they were noticing how powerful the Axis Powers were getting. It showed in the video that the German boats were far superior than everyone else’s, and they also had biological warfare (mustard gas). The United States may have noticed this and thought that if they don’t do something to pitch in and fight against the Axis, the Axis could possibly gain more power to take over the United States, and possibly the whole world.

I feel like the U.S. got involved in the war for possibly a few reasons. First of all I think they did not want one nation to just come out ahead and then come for them next. I also think they might think they could win the war by surprising all of these groups of people.

I think the U.S. joined the war so they could support their allies, because if their allies got defeated that means the U.S. would be in trouble. Also what would make the Germans not attack the U.S. , so I think the U.S. did it to get the Germans first.

I think the US got involved in the war because they had an alliance with some country that was a part of the war. And in order to keep having an alliance they would need to help that country. They also probably wanted to be on the offense before they had to be on defense.

The U.S. got involved with the European war because they saw how many countries started joining, and the war started getting more and more powerful, so they joined before people could get too powerful and then fight the U.S.. Also they could have countries that they made alliances with fighting in the war so that was probably another reason to join.

I believe that the US got involved because they were afraid that someone would come for them next and the country would be attacked. However, the US could have also gotten involved to make/help allies with other countries.
