Besides airplanes, has trade improved at all? I understand that the ship and trains improved, but is there another way of trade?

So I was reading about the Free Market System, and saw that regular people ran it, not the government. I was wondering at any time did the government try to change this and run this too do that they had more control over the people in the United States.

If creative destruction is a good thing because we get newer and better things and ditch the old, why do people pay so much for vintage and antique things when creative destruction says the old things aren't worth anything? I know that the old stuff isn't produced anymore, making it valuable, but why do people want it?

How does you "apply" for the free market system. How do you let the government know you want to start a shop?

Can entrepreneurs cheat the supply and demand system? Like if they have someone trying to put their company out of business or something the company doesn't want, can businesses support each other so that some other businesses fall?

If creative destruction is so big why is it key to learn in history all about the past when we could be learning more things about how to help the future?

Since we have capitalism, wouldn't it be difficult to trade with other countries if they don't also have capitalism?

It said in the book that most companies are not owned by the government, so my question is which large companies are owned by the government? And does being owned by the government have advantage and disadvantages?

While the people in the video were talking about people getting new jobs, I heard them talk about airplanes for a few seconds. My question is if airplanes are so much more convenient, how come people who sell cars didn’t go out of business? I mean, planes are faster and carry more people, so why didn’t people just start using planes to go places instead of cars?

My question is why is Washington's minimum wage sooooo much higher than the federal minimum wage? Is that good or is that bad?

I was wondering if a company lets say Apple, competes agaisnt itself. Like if an Apple store in California was competing agaisnt a store in Seattle just to see which store would make more profit? does that happen sometimes or did I just imagine it did?
