We will review again today. It is a simplified version of the growth narrative but essentially the Call to Adventure is an event, sometimes inconspicuous, that sends the protagonist on the path to the challenge. The challenge being, well, a challenge to the main character that is very difficult for them. If they accept and act then the idea is that this key event changes the main character in some way. It makes them "grow" as a person. Then when they return to ordinary life they show this growth in their actions. They are a "changed" person. Hope that helps, but as I said, we will review in class again.
